The Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities supports the internationalisation of cities, municipalities and regions in various ways. Influencing EU decision making is thus an important part of the Associations´s operations. The Associations´s goal is to secure and develop preconditions for local government in our country by exerting influence on the operations of the European Union, the Council of Europe and international organisations.
