The aim of New Municipality 2017 is to create a vision and an action model for a dynamic municipality, a vital self-government and a Finnish system for municipal administration.
New Municipality 2017 is both a vision of the future and actions for implementing the vision. Our aim is that local authorities, after the expiration of the framework act on the project to restructure local government and services, have at their disposal various action models that meet future challenges regarding provision, production, financing and management of services.
